Tippmann Model 98
Retailed for $199.00
Released in September, the first marker to sell over a million units using a die cast aluminum receiver construction which lowered the weight and cost but maintained the Tippmann durability. This design became a standard as the rental marker at most fields, introduced more players to the game. Production stopped in 2000 and started again in 2001 for Wal-Mart. In the picture shown marker has a RT trigger and was required to have the factory install this upgrade because body milling was required for install. Also shown with aftermarket stock.
